Incongruous - 'Out of place; Not in keeping with what is correct, proper, or logical'

This series of images is an extension of the series "Anachronisms" in terms of style and aesthetics but juxtaposes the classical painterly effect with a selection of some of the wonderful and enigmatic people from the fashion world. This produces an incongruous effect of seeming to place these brightly coloured and eccentrically dressed characters in the context of an old master's painting.

This series was originally commissioned for an exhibition at London fashion week 2010 by On|Off and was continued during the event held at Victoria House in London
